High volume report delivery extranet
for Randstad
Goal: to devise a system of securely delivering many documents to a fast-changing group of hundreds of users while minimising time needed to manage the userbase and publish the reports.
Result: a unique, generic Office document publishing system delivering thousands of documents per month to hundreds of users.
Details: The documents are automatically generated and tagged using an automatic reporting system, then delivered to the users via a user-friendly web application resembling Windows Explorer. The system incorporates a hierarchic security system and automatic PDF conversion facilities.
We designed and built the entire system using the .NET framework, and continue to operate and support it for the client.
